How to check the quality and benefits of Aloe Vera drinks products

FLP Aloe Vera Gel drinksAs Forever Living Aloe Vera health and beauty products distributors, you may often come across product objections from potential customers or distributors – especially the one where they say there’s an abundance of Aloe Vera products available in high street shops, malls or on the Internet, so why should they buy Forever Living Aloe Vera products…

You need to be able to reassure them that Forever Living Aloe Vera products, particularly the FLP Aloe Gel Drinks, are generally of a much higher quality and are more pure than many other Aloe Vera branded products. Thus they offer many more health benefits to consumers.

And to do this effectively, you need to know the reasons why this is so, and also how to advise people what to look for when choosing Aloe Vera products.

So here are all the details on how to choose the best quality Aloe Vera drinks products, what to look out for, and why. This is for any Aloe Vera drinks brands, not just Forever Living (with thanks to thealoeverasite.com).

I’m not advocating that you bore your potential customers or distributors with all the details – you’ll need to summarise the information in a neat and succinct way, that helps them without overwhelming them.

Essentially the message is that not all Aloe Vera products are the same, because of differences in manufacturing, processing and packaging of the products. The bottom line is that if the inner leaf gel from the Aloe Vera plants is not extracted and processed carefully, and/or there are lots of additives to the Aloe Vera in the product, then the benefits of that Aloe Vera product will unfortunately be greatly reduced.

Aloe Vera products with a high concentration of pure Aloe Vera inner leaf gel, which have been processed as little as possible to respect the natural purity of the Aloe Vera, will be much more beneficial. Forever Living Aloe Vera products belong to this second group.

To your success!

Isn’t FLP and MLM all about People? Why then also do Internet Marketing?

FLP is a people businessIt’s quite common that your MLM company and your upline manager (the person who sponsored you into this business) will encourage personal contact when recruiting or selling: speaking to others in person, picking up the telephone to talk, and other live and in-person methods of contact to grow your business. They will say “Network Marketing is a People Business”.

And they’re right. That’s what’s so great about it!

And that’s probably one of the main reasons why you joined this company. Let’s be honest – it’s not all about the money. Possibly the person who contacted you and talked about the opportunity and the products impressed you with their warm personality and friendly, helpful nature. They may have mentioned all the supportive training and help you will get if you join. And especially with Forever Living, once you interact with your upline, downline, and other distributors and staff, and attend some of the training sessions, you will find that you feel like you belong to a large, friendly family; rather than a cold, impersonal business.

All good.

But there are some misconceptions and problems with relying only on personal contact to grow your business. Consider that:

  1. You may quite quickly run out of people to talk to. Even if you already have a large number of family, friends, acquaintances and contacts in your environment who you are willing to contact, these might eventually dry up.
  2. The people you know and those they know might not always be in your target market. This is a very simple but important and powerful concept in marketing – you need to contact people who are relevant to your products, services or business opporrtunity; or you will be wasting a lot of your and their time promoting to those who are not interested or right for your business.
  3. You are missing out of a much larger market by ignoring the very powerful medium of the Internet.

However, this is important: Even through the use of the Internet, you need to ensure your interactions with those you reach out to, or those who find you, are still personalised. That is, you still need to show the same care and take the same time and effort talking to these people about their lives and needs, as you would if you were standing in front of them.

Some ways you can ensure you’re staying personal, even over the World Wide Web:

  • Once someone has contacted you via your website or social media, arrange a time for a video chat or a Skype call, so that your interactions are immediately more personal than emails.
  • Take time to hear their story, because their needs are just as important as people around you, and will impact on their decision to buy or join.
  • Keep in regular contact with them, so they know you think about them.
  • Keep notes about their circumstances, so that you can ask them questions about their lives, which shows you care. Use their name every time you contact them.
  • Think about ways to make them feel special, for example, send them free online gifts in the form of e-books, information, links or vouchers; and remember to wish them ‘happy birthday’ on the day!

Network Marketing is a people business. This is what gives it the potential to be so successful. So you need to use that to your advantage, and keep personalising your business interactions, even when utilising the Internet to help grow your business.

How do you market Forever Living products and the biz opp Online?

Google AppsIf you weren’t sponsored by me, it’s very likely that your FLP upline manager will encourage you to do person to person marketing and recruiting, as this is the traditional and most commonly taught method of building a Multi Level Marketing (MLM) business.

Don’t get me wrong, this is good to some degree, because it gets you meeting new people and talking to them about their needs. But you can be so much more successful if your FLP business is also marketed via the Internet.

So what’s the first step with Internet Marketing?

First of all you will probably need a website for your new FLP business. There are various options here.

The simplest option is simply to get one of the official FLP website packages offered to their distributors, for a fixed fee every month (priced from £10 per month, at the time of writing). Although the website is fairly fixed, you do get some template options and you can edit the ready done text to make it a little more personal to you (if you want to).

This option has the advantage of being pre-approved by FLP’s marketing department, and includes links for customer shopping and distributor sign ups (both will be credited to you, which is important).

However the downside is if you take the cheapest option, you will not have your own domain name, but an extended one such as www. aloebeehealth. myflpbiz. com (remove spaces when copying and pasting to your browser). Further you will not be in control of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) features for your website, such as keywords, as all of this comes pre-done within the FLP template.

A second option is of course to buy your own domain name from a website hosting company (such as JustHost.com – the provider I use for most of my own websites) and then build your website, or install a WordPress blog onto it and build it within WordPress.org.

This option is not nearly as difficult as it sounds, because simple websites can usually be built quite easily with templates and site builder software provided by your hosting company or within WordPress. This gives you much more control over content on your website, pages, links, and SEO issues – which means in theory your website should be found more easily in the Search Engines.

The downside is that you will need to submit your website to FLP’s marketing department for approval, and there are fairly strict rules on what content is allowed (especially in terms of health claims associated with Aloe Vera). Further it will not be as easy to link customer purchases and distributor sign ups made via your website to you (for FLP commission payments), although with some assistance from FLP’s technical department, you should be able to build these into your website.

Finally, you cannot leave your website floating out there in cyberspace. You need to use Internet Marketing techniques in order to help your website be found in the Search Engines, such as Google, and also attract more visitors, thus enabling more customer sales and distributor recruitment.

Some Internet Marketing methods:

  • Posting information, links and announcements via Social Media, such as Facebook and Twitter,
  • Creating interesting and watchable Videos of the FLP business opportunity and/or the products,
  • Writing Articles or Blog Posts about Aloe Vera, FLP and related issues that your target market(s) will want to read,
  • Participating in health and beauty and/or home business Forums, as an expert – posting useful information and replying to questions, and including your website link.

Watch out for more articles about Internet Marketing coming soon! In the meantime, why not pop over to Copyblogger’s Blog, an ethical helpsite for Internet Marketers?

All the best with your online marketing efforts! 🙂

What do you need to do to start your Forever Living business?

forever-logo

So you’re a brand new FLP Independent Distributor. Congratulations!

No doubt your sponsor / upline manager (the FLP distributor or manager who brought you into the business) has given you some advice and training materials or signposted you to the official FLP Distributor Training website…

But you may still feel at a loose end. After all, there’s so much to do, from getting trained, and setting up your own website; to finding customers, and sponsoring your own distributors to build your downline.

Firstly, don’t panic. Simply make a list of all the things you need to do. Don’t worry if your list grows longer as you remember more things to do – just aim to do, or start, one of those activities every day.

Secondly, remember that the business of Network Marketing is a people business. Having said that, you do need to know FLP’s products and the benefits of joining this business, so that you can attract customers, and sponsor distributors to your downline.

So do use and get to know FLP’s health and beauty products yourself and talk to others who use them, as well as do the distributor training offered by FLP. All of this will give you a good grounding and boost your confidence to go out there and market!

Thirdly, although your FLP sponsor might encourage you to make a list of at least 100 people you know in order to call them all up as potential customers or distributors, you need to work smart not hard! While contacting people you know at the start of your business can generate some customers and possibly even some distributor sign-ups, which will boost your confidence, it’s not the only thing you should do.

You need to think about your target markets – such as mothers of children with health problems like excema, elderly people who need a health boost or have joint problems, and business people who may be looking for another income opportunity – and where you will find them. Then you need to arrange FLP displays, stalls, events or presentations (in person and/or online), so that you will have access to lots of people in your target market at the same time.

Lastly, although you should definitely increase your marketing reach by utilizing the power of the Internet (with your website and through Internet Marketing activities), you need to remember that customers and distributors will be much more likely to buy/sign up if they know, like and trust you.

This means no matter how you found these people in the first place, you need to spend time interacting with them, listening to their issues, and talking to them about the benefits of FLP from their point of view.

Good luck with your business, and may it go from strength to strength!
